About Us
FORGEBLOX is an open-source, non-commercial ROBLOX web emulator recreating the platform as it existed in July 2008, built by Frameworks Engineering on GitHub.
Frameworks Engineering is an independent, Brazil-based homebrew collective. Our work is centered on building robust, open-source frameworks for hardware most people have moved past — tools, languages, and operating systems that push retro platforms to their limits. Our flagship project is Forge, a homebrew operating system for the Nintendo DS featuring the Netwarper browser, custom theming, and its own proprietary languages. FORGEBLOX grew out of that same spirit: a tribute to an era of the internet and of gaming that shaped how many of us think about building things today.
FORGEBLOX is a fan project made purely out of love for the original ROBLOX experience of 2008. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by ROBLOX Corporation or any other gaming company, and it does not generate any commercial revenue.
